A testament to the timeless beauty of pure silver through an ancient Chinese whitening technique.
A meticulous process rooted in tradition, "Su Yin Shao Bai"(literally "plain silver fire-whitening") revives the luminous essence of un-plated fine silver (990/999‰)by:
1. Flame Purification – The silver is carefully heated until red-hot, allowing natural oxidation to burn away, restoring its raw brilliance.
2. Acid Bath Revival (pickling) – After firing, the piece is immersed in a mild pickling solution (historically alum water) to cleanse residual tarnish.
3. Hand-Polished Radiance– Finally, artisans polish the silver with agate or soft brushes, enhancing its signature matte-white glow—distinct from modern rhodium plating.
